Pelican/Toucan Crossings problem
Reported via Open311 in the Pelican/Toucan Crossings category by Cheshire East Council at 09:27, Mon 13 July 2020
Council ref: 2197566.
Lack of adequate crossing facilities to access the park and lack of traffic calming measures.
The roads around the park are used as a cut through for cars often travelling above the speed limit, especially round the blind corner of Black road and Gunco Lane, this often makes crossing the road to gain access to the park dangerous especially for children.
The increased housing in Gunco lane waterways development has seen a lot of families move to the area and with the redevelopment of the king George park and playing fields more needs to be done to control traffic speed and provide safer access to the playing fields for children.
