Grass Cutting problem
Reported via Open311 in the Grass Cutting category by Cheshire East Council at 11:47, Mon 6 July 2020
Council ref: 2187795.
Due to road closure permit 13000880, traffic is being diverted along Clayholes Road and Side End Lane Kettlesulme. These roads are totally unsuitable for the volume of vehicles and in most places single car width.
The grass verges are being damaged and in some cases on the verge of collapse particularly on Clayholes. I live at Side End Farm and am having defend my perimeter wall and driveway from potential damage and cars pulling in. There is no control on the amount of traffic flowing and I have experienced abuse from car drivers, simply for pulling out of my drive. Over the last 4 weeks the verges are being progressively destroyed. I understand the work on Permit 13000880 is now being extended to 25/7/20. Surely this work could have been completed if they worked beyond 3pm each day.
